Our mission
The Mission of Goodwill Theatre Inc. is to create and operate a dynamic regional performing Arts and Conference center with a professional training academy that will enrich the lives of our residents and visitors through education, events and performances.
GWT opened its first performance venue, the Schorr Family Firehouse Stage, 48 Willow Street, Johnson City, NY 13790, in October of 2007. Currently, we offer over 65 performances each season at the Schorr Family Firehouse Stage.

The excitement in the air as a musician tunes their instrument, the applause as a comedian walks onstage, live performances have something to offer that just can’t be replicated in a live stream or a video. Performing arts organizations across the globe are finding new ways to engage and entertain their audiences, and Goodwill Theatre is no exception.
